Prior to the Contest

Check Insurance paperwork to ensure aircraft has proper
liability coverage and is current
Check Aircraft will be in annual
Check that aircraft has functioning radio
Pilot
Check that your Medical will be current
Check that your Bi-ennial is current
Check your aerobatic endorsement
Check your ASIC Card Expiry Date
Check that you hold a current appropriate Low Level
Waver for the Category to be flown
Check that the Judges Home Study Course has been done, marked
and a returned pass mark, if
required for your Category
Payment of Entry Fees and Presentation Dinner
Make hotel and car rental reservations
Items for Contest Director
Check that your Free forms (A, B, C) are approved and signed.
(This is for
Intermediate, Advanced, and Unlimited. Also applies to Sportsman if you have an
alternative Free program.)
Call or email the Contest
Director for any special instructions if required
Take to the Contest
Aircraft
Certificate of Registration.
Certificate of Airworthiness.
Maintenance Release.
Certificate of Insurance showing public liability and
property damage in the amount of $5,000,000 single limit minimum.
Pilot
A current Pilot’s Licence.
A current ASIC Card
A current Medical Certificate.
A Bi-ennial Flight Review.
Aerobatic endorsement per CAO 40.1, the minimum aerobatic
endorsements required are loop, barrel roll, slow roll, stall turn, roll off the
top and spin (inverted & upright) as appropriate.
Low Level Permission appropriate
to the competition level being flown
AAC Membership
card. & FAI Sporting Licence
Signed/Certified Free Sequence (if required)
6 x Form A
