Log Sheet
As
you would be aware from our newsletter, the
Committee has decided that it would be very helpful if all our
judges kept a log book. The form will be
Appendix 7 in the AAC Regulations and all judges will be expected to keep
a note of their judging experience (pilots do it, so why not judges!)
This will enable each judge to keep track of their experience, and
will allow the National Committee to be able to see when a
"new" judge has enough experience to become a State Judge
and when a State Judge has enough experience to become a National
Judge.
The
following are the criteria for Judges:
a)
Have completed the current AAC Judges' Home Study Course
b)
Have assisted at two AAC contests, OR have judged at four club
flying critique sessions under the supervision of a current State or
National Judge
c)
Be recommended by two current National or State Judges under whom
they have served
a)
Have completed the current AAC Judges' Home Study Course
b)
Be a current State Judge
c)
Have judged at least two AAC contests within the previous 18 months
d)
Be recommended by at least one current National Judge under whom
they served
e)
Be approved by the AAC National Committee
