Detail of some of the aerobatic aircraft used by members of the Australian Aerobatic Club.

Decathlon American two seat sports aircraft of steel tube, timber and fabric construction.  Power by either Lycoming 150 or 180 hp engines with constant speed propeller and equipped with inverted fuel and oil systems and symmetrical wing.

Empty Weight:  572 kg Top Speed: 272 kph

Citabria American two seat sports aircraft of steel tube, timber and fabric construction.  Power by either Lycoming 100 or 150 hp engines and fixed pitch propeller.

Empty Weight:  525 kg Top Speed: 248 kph

Pitts Special

S1S and S1T

The single Pitts Special of either home built or factory origin.  Like the two seat version, only smaller and lighter with the same steel tube, timber and fabric construction.  Power by either Lycoming 180 or 200 hp engines with some models using a constant speed propeller.  All Pitts are equipped with inverted fuel and oil systems.
Pitts Special

S2A and S2B

The classic aerobatic biplane.  Two seat of steel tube, timber and fabric construction.  Power by either Lycoming 180, 200 or 260 hp engines with constant speed propeller and equipped with inverted fuel and oil systems.
Yak 55/55M Russian, all metal, single seat, fixed gear and powered by the Vedeneev 360hp, nine cylinder radial engine.  Built as successor to the Yak 50.  The -M version has reduced wingspan for increased roll rate.
