AAC Aerobatic Boot Camp
About the Event
The Aerobatic Club has historically focused on running competition style events and whilst this is important part of its role it is also has the responsibility for fostering the skills of its pilots through improvement programs.
Although we have tried aerobatic field trainings days and weekend programs they have had very limited patronage and success.
The purpose of the camp is to help accelerate pilot skills, particularly those transitioning categories ,improving areas of weakness and learning skills to improve the value of avgas burnt in the future.
I believe a dedicated, structured , researched and well prepared one week camp will provide a welcome and much needed benefit in filling the void.
The camp will be available for pilots irrespective of skill level on a first come first served basis.
It beggars belief to me that pilots we invest large sums of money to purchase and operate aircraft. With a little more expenditure of time and focus, plus experienced help, we could really improve and get tangible results in a shorter period of time.
This will result in better, safer and happier aerobatic pilots which is what the Aerobatic Club is all about.
